The Division of Social Services is requesting comment(s) on the following:
The DSS is proposing Division of Social Services, our intent to participate in P.L. 102-477, the Indian Employment, Training, and Related Services which is administered by the Department of the Interior.
Participation by Tribes under the Act is voluntary and is intended to demonstrate how Indian Tribal governments can integrate employment, training, and related services to improve the effectiveness of those services, reduce joblessness in Indian communities and serve Tribally determined goals consistent with the policies of self-determination.
The public comment period will begin May 20, 2024. All comments must be received by DSS on or before July 19, 2024.
